Another dry but windy evening. Before the start, the view was that it was a headwind to the turn and tailwind home, but it slowly dawned on you on the way to the turn that this was too easy for a full headwind and, sure enough, the return was sticky in places as course swung round into the headwind and then back again for a crosswind. I hope all the "runners" and "mountainbikers" enjoyed their outing. I noticed "you swine" as a comment by the result board a couple of times, so there was obviously some rivalry involved! |
