This year's Kingston to worthing was run in cool conditions with a strong North-easterly wind giving the riders a helping hand for much of the way. The morning stayed dry - at least until after the event and everybody enjoyed a hearty breakfast at Macaris on the sea-front after. Despite the cold the tradition of pitch & putt at Lancing was upheld by almost everyone, although the other tradition of a picnic on the beach was continued only by a hardy few. However it was slightly sheltered from the breeze down on the beach. The kids, as always, loved playing in the sand after the early start cheering for the many Mums & Dads racing down.
