After a number of heavy showers in Surrey and Sussex yesterday we were greeted with a warm but very misty morning down at Pease Pottage. Once you dropped down Tolgate Hill the conditions were less murky, but still warm and very moist - good for the muscles. Four of us improved our 25 times. Ray was knackered before he started, after riding a 50 yesterday afternoon. Pete E was disappointed because he didn't go as fast as he wanted, and Tony mildly disappointed because he didn't ride as well as he would have liked. |
