Fortunately the workmen had gone and the sun shone at last. For once we had a relatively pleasant warm evening without it blowing a gale.
Only four of the Phoenix pairs competed as entered and the average time of the 4 pairs worked out at 26:33.5, which gave Pete and I the average prize, again.....
The evening was a great success and something of an interclub with a number of pairings from other clubs taking part in the 2Up, along with a number of solo riders as well. Thomas Fricker took part in his first event, on the trailer bike, towed round by dad, Mike; somewhere between a 2Up and a tandem ride.
