Another tough day, with a similar southerly wind to that experienced for the Kingston to Worthing. Today, however, it was slightly warmer and - more importantly - dry.
Joe did a good ride, improving on his time in the Addiscombe 25 on the same course, and proving that he has moved up a league to challenge the fast men. Pete snuck 1st place off the handicapper again, but Tony Tugwell's ride was the more deserving of the award, only 9 seconds back. He also beat Jake, hinting that on the right day he could go substantially faster.
Grant almost missed his start by going back to the car for his wheel spanner, having almost forgotten it totally.
Simon & Jen were spared an early morning, having to attend church for the reading of their banns instead!
It was assumed that the Redmon won the interclub again so the team result has not been worked out properly yet.
