There was a distinct chill in the air to start with, but basically it was a dry and bright morning with the air warming up nicely during the event.
Amy did an excellent ride, mere seconds slower than Jake, to take the Consolation Trophy.
Jackie Morgan Smith won 2nd Handicap in only her second 25, having ridden quite a fast course for her first 25 and setting herself a high standard to live up to. However she did a good ride on quite a hard course.
Ray took 3rd Handicap with a typically tenacious ride.
Andy and Joe rode a 2Up as practice for the Duo Nomand two weeks later.
