As we stood miserably in the car park with the drizzle all around us, it began to look as if we might have to cancel the 10 and postpone the championship, again. Fortunately as start time approached the drizzle stopped and it brightened up. In fact, it was even drier at the turn. Before the event, in the rain, it seemed quite cold, but in reality it didn't seem cold once out on the road.
Joe is still chipping away at Simon's points total, but gets a bonus on Sunday in the Kingston to Worthing as Simon is in Brittany and unable to ride. Joe is a likely winner of K-W, fair and square, but for various reasons none of the opposition are riding to challenge him.

Ray swiped both the Handicap and Vets medals with a typical tenacious ride, Ann proved that there's a little more to Time Trialling than just the speed gained in Road Racing, allowing Jen to use her Road Racing gains and win the Ladies medal, and, of course, Joe claims the Fastest medal.
