Once again it looked as though we would have to consider cancelling as it rained heavily an hour before the start time, and once again it blew over and the sun came out by the time we started.
Sadly there was no sign of the hoardes from the Clarencourt this week, although I rather think it is because they've done the event (their 4Up) that they were all training for, rather than because the weather looked crap.
After the rain, it was a reasonably fast evening - helpful wind to the turn, not so helpful back, but not strong - with everyone recording their fastest 10 of the year, except for Joe who has ridden a faster 10 elsewhere.
Joe has been winning most of the Club Events, but Simon managed to beat him by just 3 seconds for the second time this year and Chrystal won the handicap with an improvement to her pb.
