Another warm, dry and bright evening. The wind seemed to be a light Nor'westerley, giving reasonably fast conditions for some.
Joe improved his best 10 of the year, coming within 5 seconds of another pb - the only distance he hasn't pb'd at so far this year. Simon narrowly avoided being taken left to Capel by a motorist who thought that cyclists are there for target practice. Mark produced his best 10 for a large number of years and so deserved to win the handicap. Jackie (as oppose to Jake!) finally entered a club event in advance and so won the award for fastest lady. And I shaved another second off this year's 10 time, but I'm still looking for another 4 seconds!
