This event seems jinxed, but after a scare over cones on the course, and a quick zip round in the car to check, we were able to make the most of a good evening. With only a light wind and a nice warm evening most of the Phoenix posted their best times of the year so far.
Grant made a last minute attempt to challenge for the vets medal by riding trike, but was still masacred by Ray. Jen once again pulled out an excellent ride to win the ladies' award; Joe outclassed Simon for the fastest award, showing that but for the puncture he could well have won the Kingston to Worthing; and Mark Mac did an excellent ride most deserving of the handicap medal.
Tom Fish managed 41:21 at the age of 90, as he promised us at the Club Dinner. I think that sets an age related record!

A good turnout from the Wheelers made for a sociable evening, but hasn't helped me getting the results up quickly as the page is somewhat more complicated.

Finally, the Kingston Wheelers Club Event is listed in dark blue, my apologies if anyone isn't credited to the correct club - I always think I've noted everything down until I get to this point. Corrections appreciated, to the email address at the bottom of the page.
