A very warm evening, but quite breezy. There were six pairs from the Phoenix, but Mark & Jackie didn't qualify for the awards due to a reshuffle on the night. Rachel and David claimed the "closest to average" prize, their 27:07 only an couple of seconds below the average - and they were the second fastest pair! Joe and Simon were head and shoulders above the rest of us, to take the Club award for fastest pair, but not the fastest pairing on the night. And they were beaten by 2 solo rides as well! With the Wheelers also having a 2Up, and most of the PTTs entering into the spirit of the evening we had 19 pairs riding. And the car park was so busy that someone remarked that it was "more like an open event". | |||||
